Charles Stacy
GOLDEN – Charles Ray Stacy, 52, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at his residence. He was born July 18, 1960, in Red Bay.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Terry Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay, Ala., will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two brothers, Orville Stacy (Betsy) of Holly Springs and Ellis Stacy (Shelia) of Golden; two sisters, Mary Dyer of Red Bay and Violet Bishop (Evan) of Vina, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Velon Augustus and Vella Florine Reese Stacy; one brother, Arthur Stacy; and grandparents, Archie and Maude Reese and Orville and Ethel Stacy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Lindley, Mike McDowell, Brandi Gentry and Liza Renfroe.

KOSCIUSKO – Curtis Orman passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, in Kosciusko. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Robinson Funeral Home.
Nancy Burleson
FULTON – Nancy Melinda Burleson, 59, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a member of Fulton United Methodist Church. For more than 20 years, she thrived in her career as an educator specializing in English, literature and speech. She taught at Vicksburg, Grenada, Iuka, Smithville and substituted in Itawamba County before retiring for health concerns. An artistic individual, she had a true love for teaching, her students and was an staunch supporter of her former students.
Services will be at 11 a. m. Tuesday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with the Rev. Phillip Box officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Honey Burleson of Fulton; two sisters, Rosanne Hilbun of Starkville and Angel McKinion (Ricky) of Philadelphia; two brothers, Bill Burleson (Patsy) of the Evergreen community and Bob Burleson (Robin) of Georgetown, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William G. “Big Bill” Burleson.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Ben Hilbun III, William Hilbun, Will Burleson, II, Chip Burleson, Jake Burlson, Natchez Burleson and Hunter Gibson. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Smith, Reid Smith, Dr. Billy T. Collum, Lonnie Harris and Luzerne Wheeler.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

OKOLONA – Charlie C. Johnson died Friday, April 26, 2013, at his residence. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Williams Memorial Funeral Home in Okolona.

BRUCE – Ellar Hankins, 68, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Calhoun County Health Services. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce.
Tommy Ray
GOLDEN – Tommy Lee Ray, 68, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at his residence. He was born March 22, 1945. He was a member of Pineville Baptist Church and was the former butcher for Big Star in Red Bay.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. J.C. Blackburn and Bro. David Ray officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Golden.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Betty Ray of Golden; three children, Tunya Scott (Ronald), Terry Ray (Tracy) and Angie Ray, all of Golden; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Scott (Cady), Kayla Humphries (Dallas), Brittany Scott, Brock Ray, Zeke Lofton, Chloe Lofton and Ben Lofton; three great granddaughters, Macie Humphries, Alli Beth Scott and Addison Scott; three brothers, Doug Ray (Rebecca), Jimmy Ray (Helen) and David Ray (Debbie); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents the Rev. Eugene and Ruble Grissom Ray; and one sister, Glenda Ledbetter.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Scott, Brock Ray, Stephen Ray, Zeke Lofton, Ben Lofton and Jeff Stephens.
Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay and until service time Tuesday.

Arylss Callicutt
HOLLY SPRINGS – Arylss Ann Henderson Callicutt, 75, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Holly Springs. Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Holly Springs, or Marshall Academy in Holly Springs.

Lorean Wren
BOONEVILLE – Sarah “Rene” Wren, 87, died Friday, April 26, 2013, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was born Feb. 8, 1926, in Hackleburg, Ala., to Simon and Nora Cochran Frederick. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, flowers and most of all, her family.
No funeral services are scheduled. Burial will be in Antioch #2 Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Donnie Wren (Janice) and Bobby J. Wren, all of Rienzi; three sisters, Gertrude Vandevander (Lloyd) of Waycross, Ga., Idell Nichols (Don) of Coloma, Mich., and Glena Johnson (Jay) of Hamilton, Ala.; five granddaughters, Regina Goss, Dianna Grimes, Megan Holmes, all of Rienzi, Sandy Freeman of Jumpertown and Terri Haire of Booneville; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

ABERDEEN – Elmira Langston, 96, died Friday, April 26, 2013, at her home. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
Bill McKnight
SMITHVILLE – Bill Knight, 62, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. He was born Sept. 3, 1950, to Edith Buena Faulkner Reedy and Dudley Knight. He grew up in and attended school in Amory, was of the Baptist faith, worked at Autozone and was a truck driver for North Mississippi Medical Center. He enjoyed being with his family, traveling and camping.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Harlan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Knight of Bigbee; sister, Gail Knight of Florida; granddaughter, Cheyenne Keith; and special friends, Connie Parker and Justin Keith, both of Bigbee.
Pallbearers will be Darron, Pierce, and Mark Thornton, Willie Myatt and Bobby Stanford.
