Dr. Jack H. Kahlstorf

David Grubbs
PONTOTOC – David Wayne Grubbs died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Aug. 30, 1956, at Malstrom AFB in Great Falls, Mont., to Billy Ray Grubbs Sr. and Winnie Faye Stout Grubbs. He worked as an electrician for JESCO and Krueger Metal for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved his grandchildren. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Baldwin-Nowell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Ecru Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Winnie Faye Stout Grubbs of Pontotoc; two daughters, Jennifer Grubbs and Jill Grubbs, both of Pontotoc; two sisters, Synthia Bramlitt (Alvin) of Ecru and Theresa Johnston (Buddy) of Pontotoc; one brother, Billy R. Grubbs Jr. (Dona) of Longview; and three grandchildren, Annasia, Austin and Aubree Berry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy R. Grubbs Sr.; and his grandparents, Louis and Odell Washington Grubbs, and Lonnie and Malverta Tollison Stout.
Pallbearers will be Junior Stout, Danny Stout, Jeremy Grubbs, Micah Grubbs, Chris Grubbs, Mike Bramlett, Ricky Bramlett and David Stout.
Visitation is today from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Raymond E. Yarbrough
TISHOMINGO – Raymond E. Yarbrough, 83, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Tishomingo County to Lucian and Ermie West Yarbrough. He was a member of Forrest Grove Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with Bro. Mike Neighbors officiating. Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Minnie Yarbrough of Tishomingo; three children, Janet Nunley of Iuka, Mike Yarbrough (Alma) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Terry Yarbrough (Shelia) of Dennis; seven grandchildren, Dwan Robinson (Clint), Kayla Colley (Donnie), Megan Wigginton (Casey), Alyson Yarbrough, Courtney McMinn (Scotty), Lindsey Dowel (Charles) and Sonya Carlson (Bryan); five great-grandchildren, Clint Robinson Jr., Nick Colley, Morgan McMinn, Reese Dowel and Kyley Carlson; five sisters, Francis Kidd, Flora Wanner, Emogene Page, Margie Klauk and Carolyn Whitfield; and two brothers, Troy Yarbrough and Bill Yarbrough.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Yarbrough.
Pallbearers will be Clint Robinson, Donnie Colley, Tommy Nunley, Gary Harlan, Rick Wanner and Mark Wanner.
Visitation will be until service time today at the funeral home.

William Scott
VICTORIA – William Scott, 71, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Baptist-Collierville in Collierville, Tenn. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Serenity Funeral Home of Holly Springs.

Jimella Wilson
BYHALIA – Jimella Wilson, 53, died Wednesday, Dec. 09, 2009, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.
Services will be Tuesday at noon at Concorde MB Church in Slayden. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 12-5 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs.

Betty Brazile
BALDWYN – Betty Brazile, 62, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at the North Mississippi Regional Center in Oxford after a brief illness. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Waters Funeral Home in Baldwyn.
Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rev. Bobby Geanes
WALNUT – Rev. Bobby Geanes, 77, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Jackson Madison Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Foster & Son Funeral Home in Ripley.

Billy Koon
BLUE MOUNTAIN – Billy Koon, 80, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at his home. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by McBride Funeral Home in Ripley.

Charlie Adams
FALKNER – Charlie Robert Adams, 57, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. He was a heavy equipment operator for Graco Construction Company and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Falkner. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. James Howell and the Rev. Ronnie Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in Ruckersville Cemetery in Falkner. McBride Funeral Home of Ripley is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Louise Adams of Falkner; one daughter, Sharee Loreal Adams of Falkner; one son, Issac Corderk Robert Adams of Falkner; one sister, Joyce McDonald (Morris) of Tiplersville; two brothers, Waymon Adams (Nettie) and Johnny Adams, both of Falkner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Myrtle Maxwell Adams; one sister, Jimmie Maxwell; and one brother, Tommy Lee Adams.
Visitation will be Monday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday from noon until service time at the church.

Mildred E. Holbrook
ASHLAND – Mildred E. Holbrook, 87, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at her home.
Services will be Monday at 11a.m. at Liberty United Methodist Church in Ashland. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
