Pearlene Stone
SPARKS, Nev. – Pearlene Stone died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Holy Family Home Care. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Grayson-Porter’s Mortuary in Tupelo.

Conway Manus
EUPORA – Conway Manus, 29, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora. Burial will be in the Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mae Brice Griffis
TUPELO – Mae Brice Griffis, 107, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born on Dec. 9, 1904, in Tupelo, the daughter of Horace and Ora Lee Collier. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Church of God In Christ, where she was active until her health failed. The namesake of the Griffis Green House at Traceway Retirement Community, she would regularly roll her wheelchair around, preach the gospel and sing her favorite song, “Amazing Grace,” to anyone who would listen. She worked in domestic service until she started her own business of making crocheted doilies.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 1 p.m. today at the J.W. Porter Chapel at Grayson-Porter’s Mortuary in Tupelo. Elder Jeremiah Penro will officiate. Burial will follow in Porter’s Memorial Park.
She is survived by her cousin and longtime caregiver, Tina Washington; a cousin, Lillie Faye Adams of Tupelo; and other cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.B. Griffis; and her brother, Horace Collier Jr.
Viewing will be from noon to service time today at the J.W. Porter Chapel.

Dorothy Wojcik
BOONEVILLE – Dorothy T. Wojcik, 76, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born May 31, 1936, in Chicago to Leon and Josephine Dybala. She was a customer service representative in the automobile manufacturing industry. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Corinth. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, ceramics, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her dog, Queenie.
No local funeral services are scheduled. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation and funeral services will be held later this week at Schreffler Funeral Home in Kankakee, Ill.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Edward Cramer Jr. (Linda) of Rienzi, Gregory Cramer (Annette) of Bradley, Ill., and Kevin Cramer of Shelby, Ind.; three grandchildren, Thomas Edward Cramer III of Rienzi, Jennifer Lynn Taylor of Jumpertown and Janice Marie Curtiss of Sheridan, Ariz.; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Wojcik, on May 16, 1992.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. today at Booneville Funeral Home.

Dorcas Kimbrough
ABERDEEN – Dorcas Dodd “Pee Wee” Kimbrough, 55, died on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Born on March 30, 1957, in Sikeston, Mo., she was a daughter of Frances Lorene Barnett Long and the late Joseph Asbury Dodd. Living in Monroe County most of her life, she attended Becker School. She married Woodson D. Kimbrough on March 3, 1991. Before becoming a homemaker, she worked as a seamstress in the garment and furniture industries and as a cook at Pickle Barrel. She was of the Baptist faith. A sweet, good-hearted lady who would help anyone, she was a great cook, known for her wonderful dressing. She adored her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed driving and going places; crocheting, knitting, crossstitching, quilting; and country and gospel music.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Frances and Bobby D. Long of Aberdeen; son, Donald Eugene Colburn (Mary) of Clarksville, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Penny Kimbrough of Amory; brothers, Douglas Long (Gwen) and Ivan Long (Julie), all of Amory; grandchildren, D.J. and Robert Colburn; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rhonda Shotts of Shannon.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodson D. Kimbrough; daughter, Cynthia Darlene Colburn; and son, Robert Leonard Dodd.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Robert E. Fowlkes officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jesse and Mark Barnett, Cory and Dustin Long, Randy King, Chris Darby and Jonathan Beard. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Barnett.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

George Faught
TUPELO – George Alvis Faught, 67, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Graceland Care Center in New Albany after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 30, 1944, in New York, N.Y. His family moved to New Orleans where he received his education. He moved to Tupelo where he met and married Sarah Duncan and together they raised five children. He retired from Hancock Fabric after 18 years of service and the Malco Theater after 40 years of service. He enjoyed greeting people at the theater. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Bro. Billy Hutcheson officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Sarah (Becky) Faught of Tupelo; three daughters, Becky Aliene Schrock of North Carolina, Petunia Lee Ward (Tony) and Penny Rebecca Garcia (Johnny), all of Tupelo; one son, Marlon Ashley Frederick (Leslie) of Carrolton, Ga.; five grandchildren, Phillip Ramsey, Lance Ward, Andrea’ Garcia and Diego Garcia, all of Tupelo, and Raven Frederick of Carrolton, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Faught, and one son, Patrick Bagwell.

Eileen Jennings
FAIRHOPE, Ala. – Eileen Clark Jennings died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, in Fairhope, Ala. She was born April 8, 1930, in Buena Vista. She married Bert Roy Jennings Jr. on Dec. 28, 1948. She lived in Union County for 48 years before moving to Summerdale, Ala.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at United Funeral Service in New Albany with her nephew, the Rev. Steve Hill, officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery at Cotton Plant.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bert Roy Jennings Jr.; her son, Bert Roy Jennings III (Shannon Mullen Jennings) of Fairhope, Ala.; granddaughter, Caitlin O’Neil Jennings of the University of South Carolina; grandson, Bert Roy Jennings IV (Jeb) of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas; a brother, Bernard Clark of Blue Mountain; sister and brother-in-law, Jimmy and Beth Hill of Ripley; sister and brother-in-law, Ken and Rebecca Riskedahl of Tupelo; and sister-in-law, Shirley Clark of Ripley.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Elizabeth, on Nov. 17, 2007, and her brother, John Clark.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Ebenezer Church.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.

BOONEVILLE – Francis Onella Welch, 62, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church. Burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery. Patterson Memorial Chapel of Corinth is in charge of the arrangements.

Ricky Stewart
PONTOTOC – Ricky Lane Stewart, 57, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born June 21, 1955, to W.C. and Doris Stewart. He married Ann McHann on Jan. 6, 1978. He worked at Tupelo Buffalo Park and drove a truck for Woods Recycling. He loved to ride horses and team rope with all his buddies.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home. Bro. Tommy Morrow, Bro. Doug Jones and Bro. Jimmy Russell will officiate. Burial will follow in Immanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Ann McHann Stewart; two sons, Chris Stewart and B.J. Stewart of the home; two aunts, Joann Gentry and Sara Brown; two uncles, Johnny Stewart (Shirley) and Lee Stewart (Betty); granddaughter, Abigail Hudson Stewart; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.C. Stewart; his mother, Doris Stewart; his grandparents, Oliver and Ruby Stewart, W.C. Stewart Sr., and Eddie B. Stewart Carter; an uncle, Wayne Stewart.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Stewart, Marty Brown, Reagan Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Dickie Austin, David Owens, Shane Bridgeman, Billy Wayne Stewart, Mike Holloway, Zach Holloway, Drew Holloway and Chad Jaggers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday.

Bric Turner
BOONEVILLE – Bric Thomas Turner, 26, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at his home after an extended illness. He was born Sept. 17, 1986, to Tommy and Dr. Anita Turner. He was a 2005 graduate of Booneville High School and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College and the University of Mississippi. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and playing pool. He also loved to spend time with friends and family, and listen to music. His greatest dream was to someday have his own family which was fulfilled through his generous love and sacrificial giving to many.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Gaston Baptist Church with the Rev. J.C. Prather, the Rev. Trey Lambert, the Rev. Kenneth Harrison and the Rev. Matt Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Memorial Park. McMillan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors are his parents; two sisters, Mariah Lucille and Angel Renee Tuner; other family, Loretta Polanco and Destiny Crunk.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, the Rev. Clifford and Ruby Smart, and Albert and Clara Turner.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Davis, Jay Davis, Jake DeVaughn, J.D. Hawkins, Blake Jones, Warren Jumper, Chad Moore, Briley Morgan, Hunter Nanney, Rickey Nanney and Jeff Prentiss. Honorary pallbearers will be Collin Turner, Timothy Turner, Justin Perrigo, Coy Perrigo, Brett Prather, Charlie Smart, Lonnie Smart, Bart Prather and the BHS Class of 2005.
Visitation will continue until service time today at Gaston Baptist Church.
