Daisy Fudge
ABERDEEN – Daisy Howell Fudge, 71 died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Care Center of Aberdeen. She was a member of Smith Chapel Holiness Church, where she served on the Mother and Missionary Boards.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith Chapel Holiness Church with Pastor Mammie Parks officiating. Burial will be in Beeks Cemetery. Belle Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge.
She is survived by one son, Adam Fudge of Aberdeen; one daughter, Tracy Strong (Wes) of Aberdeen; one brother, Wilbert Howell of Aberdeen; one sister, Mary Lizzie Howell of Aberdeen; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m Friday at the funeral home.

Lester DePriest
TUPELO – Lester L. DePriest, 66, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Baldwyn Nursing Home. He was born Aug. 28, 1946, in Lee County to Nathaniel DePriest and Norma Bowdry DePriest. He worked many years at Gardner-Watson in Tupelo.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at White Hill M.B. Church with the Rev. Jeffery Daniels officiating. The Rev. Nathan Brown will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in the Porter Memorial Garden in Tupelo. Agnew & Sons Funeral Home of Verona is in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Cayson; a granddaughter, Keeona Westmoreland; three brothers, Roy DePriest, Robert DePriest and Sonny DePriest; and one sister, Princetta DePriest.
Survivors include six sons, Steve (Tekala) Cayson, John (Patricia) Cayson, Kendall (Karen) Cayson, Fred Garmon, Chris Garmon and Dennis Garmon; a special son, DeVontae Lyons: four daughters, Teresa DePriest, Shanty DePriest, Renea DePriest and Felicia Garmon; six sisters, Gussie Fair, Magnolia Phyfer, Martha Davis, Irene Banks, Rosie Westmoreland and Clarice (Charles) Welch; two brothers, Tommie DePriest and Henry Watkins; 29 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today with the family hour from 6 to 7 p.m. today.

Linda Watson
OKOLONA – Linda Claunch Watson, 65, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born in Tupelo on Oct. 3, 1947, to Q.R. Claunch and Dorothy Bryant Claunch. A lifelong resident of North Mississippi, she received her master’s degree from Mississippi State University. She was a retired educator, teaching the last 15 years of her career at Mooreville Elementary School. She was a member of the Okolona Lanier Club and an active member of Okolona First United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother (Grammy) and sister.
A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Okolona First United Methodist Church with the Rev. H.B. Miller officiating. Private burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery. The First Methodist Church Chimes, which she worked to have installed in the Sanctuary, will play on the day of the service. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. to service time Friday at the church. Holland Funeral Directors Okolona Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Watson of Okolona; mother, Dorothy B. Claunch of Okolona; one son, Clay Crabb (Amy) of Tupelo; daughter, Stacy Crabb Deas (Lawrence Deas) of Tupelo; one sister, Lydia C. Lauderdale (Jim Bert Lauderdale) of Shannon; four grandchildren, William Deas, Mason Deas, Sam Crabb and Ellie Crabb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Quenton Rhodes Claunch Jr.
Pallbearers will be Stewart Lauderdale, Jim Bert Lauderdale, Greg Hanna, Bill Hanna, Marty Watson, Jeff Watson and Richie Watson.

Linda Waldrop
PONTOTOC – Linda Merle Bratton Waldrop, 78, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Graceland Nursing Home in Pontotoc. She was born April 2, 1934, to Alka and Wana Bratton. She married the love of her life, Laderl Waldrop, on Nov. 26, 1953. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandsons, Jacob and Ben.
Services were Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Bro. Gerald Finley and Judge Jimmy Roberts officiated. Burial was in Pontotoc City Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Judi Gentry (Lyle); two grandsons, Jacob Gentry (Genevieve Turkett) and Ben Gentry; two brothers, Jimmy Bratton (Lucille) of Oxford and Junior Bratton (Chanel) of Grenada; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laderl Waldrop; her parents; and a brother, Johnny Bratton.
Pallbearers were Jacob Gentry, Randy Bratton, Tracy Bratton, Brandon Brewer, Floyd Stovall and Barry Gentry. Honorary pallbearers were the staff at Graceland Nursing Home.

CHEROKEE, Ala. – Edna Hamm, 72, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen. Burial will be in Morris Hill Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

ECRU – Jimmy Lyndon Raby, 80, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Darlington Oaks in Verona. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was retired from the City of Pontotoc and Pontotoc Health Services. He enjoyed listening to gospel and country music and mowing the grass.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with the Rev. Steve Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in the Ecru Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his children, Tammie Short (Chris) and Johnny Raby (Melody), both of Ecru; and five grandchildren, Ashley Ehlers, Kayla Raby, Lindsey Raby, Wesley Scott and Austin Short.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Hamilton Raby and Mary Bell Graddy Raby; his wife, Flossie Mae Dillard Raby; and a sister, Linda Hemker.
Pallbearers will be Tim Swords, Phil Grubbs, Jesse Walker, Jason Grant, Bilbo Russell and Marcus Allison.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

BOONEVILLE – Pauline Lovell, 97, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Landmark Nursing Home. She was born May 23, 1915, to Robert and Vivie Sutlett. She was a member of East Booneville Baptist Church and she retired from Blue Bell Manufaturing.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in the Forrest Memorial Park.
Survivors are one son, Robert (Barbara) Lovell of Guntown; one grandson, John (Amy) Rakestraw of Longmont, Colo.; three great-grandchildren, Kayla (Ausin) Winger, Zac (Ashleigh) Rakestraw and Alex Rakestraw, all of Longmont, Colo.; one great-great-grandson, Jack Winger of Longmont, Colo.; one sister, Earlin Little of Corinth; several half brothers and half sisters; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Gurthie Gifford; and three brothers, Troy Lee, Junior and Pickens Sutlett.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and until service time Friday at McMillan Funeral Home.

POCAHONTAS, Tenn. – Annie McClintock, 92, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Grove Independent Methodist Church in Pocahontas, Tenn. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar, Tenn., is in charge of the arrangements.

Jan P. Carr
BARTLETT, Tenn. – Jan Poe Carr, 61, died on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. Born on June 28, 1951, in Amory, she was a daughter of Clara Doris Poe Burroughs and the late Tom Poe. She was a graduate of Amory High School, Class of 1969. She attended Itawamba Junior College and Belhaven University in Jackson. She honorably served in the U.S. Army. Possessing a vibrant spirit, she loved life and cherished time with all of her family. A homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, baking, flower and herb gardening. She looked forward to going to antique sales with her husband, collecting old records and antique furniture. While living in Amory, she attended Central Grove Baptist Church.
A celebration of life Memorial Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bartlett Funeral Home, 5803 Stage Road, Bartlett, Tenn. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is assisting the family locally.
Visitation will be from noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Carr of Bartlett, Tenn.; mother, Clara Doris Poe Burroughs of Columbus; daughter, Miranda McKitchen of Bartlett; granddaughter, Maleiya McKitchen of Bartlett; sister, Donna Clement of Frankfort, Ky.; brother, Tommy Poe of Amory; nephews, Clay Clement of Richmond, Ky., and Thomas Poe of Tampa, Fla.; and niece Krysti Poe of Amory.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Vance Burroughs.

CORINTH – Lee Russell Walker, 71, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Nov. 21, 1941. He was a Baptist and an employee of Leedo’s Manufacturing.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Little Zion M.B. Church with the Rev. Christopher Traylor officiating. Burial will be in the Alcorn Cemetery at Kossuth. Patterson Memorial Chapel of Corinth is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include siblings, Mary Barnett, Billy Wayne Walker, Melvin Walker, Shirley Bogan and Mildred Jarrett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Velice Walker; and his grandparents, Levi and Gertrude Dilworth, and Charlie and Ethel Walker.

Moby Wildman
NETTLETON – James Richard “Moby” Wildman, 56, died suddenly Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born on Jan. 18, 1957, in Lee County to Buddy and Marie Richardson Wildman. He was a lifelong resident of Nettleton and a graduate of Nettleton High School. He was a former factory worker and a member of the Nettleton Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, NASCAR and being with his family.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with the Rev. Danny C. Burks and the Rev. Benjamin Luttrell officiating. Cremation will follow.
Survivors include his mother, Marie Richardson Wildman of Nettleton; his wife, Ruthy Carol Shuffield Wildman of Nettleton; two daughters, Kimberly D. Wildman Raper (Billy Joe) of Tupelo and Ashley Wildman McCullar (Tim) of Pontotoc; one stepdaughter, Amy D. Seymore Mobley (Brian C.) of Amory; one stepson, Michael G. Seymore (fiancée, Linda) of Nettleton; three grandchildren, Madison Raper, and Kassie and Brandon McCullar; three stepgrandchildren, Jacob and Drew Mobley, and Colton Smith; a special friend, Kenny Joe Homan; and a host of aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, James William Wildman Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Joe Homan, Richard Schlicht, Stevie Shackelford, Richie Strickland, Tony Riley, Darren Inmon and Justin “Judd” Duran.

JC Fellows
TUPELO – JC Fellows, 65, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 6, 1947, to Ivory and Pearl Robinson Fellows in Oakland, Calif. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Lily Company, where he worked as a forklift mechanic. A longtime resident of Blue Springs, he currently lived in Tupelo. He was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching Westerns on television and spending time with his family.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lewis Bridges officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Nancy Grant Fellows of Tupelo; two sons, Jeff Fellows (Atina) of Blue Springs and Chris Fellows (Kim) of McKinney, Texas; one sister, Jewel Pruitt (Larry) of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren, Patrick Fellows (Lauren), Gage Fellows and Heaven Fellows, all of Blue Springs, and T.J. Fellows, Jake Fellows and Cayden Fellows, all of McKinney, Texas; a brother-in-law, Tommy Grant (Cynthia) of New Albany; and a special niece, Gail Gregg (John) of Tulsa, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Joy Atkinson, Carolyn Sue Enslow and Nina Hunsaker; and two brothers, Earnest Fellows and Ivory Fellows Jr.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Grant, Justin Grant, Steven Nanney, Eric Jackson, Mike Sauvageot and Mitch Robbins.
