LOUISVILLE – Charles Thomas Causey Jr., 49, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Oct. 2, 1963, in Jackson. He was the owner of Sally’s Cleaners.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Bowie officiating. Porter Funeral Home in Louisville is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is noon until service time today at Porter Funeral Home.
He is survived by his daughter, Clair Causey of Louisville; his mother, Peggy Causey of Louisville; his grandmother, Sally Chappell of Louisville; a sister, Terry (Lou) Garofalo of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a brother, Scott (Jodi) Causey of Sarasota, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Thomas Causey, Sr.

CORINTH – Jerry “Tiny” Kenneth Mathis, 64, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Magnolia Regional.

PISGAH – Christine Virginia Hughes Perrigo, 80, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born in Prentiss County on March 11, 1932, to John and Lydia Lauderdale Hughes. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. She had a special love for animals which was evidenced in her humane spirit to all. She was known for her quick wit and dry sense of humor.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kerry Powell officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Paulette (Bud) Sims and Anita (Mike) Gardner; three sons, Jacky (Mary Sue) Perrigo, Don (Judith) Perrigo and Rocky (Felesha) Perrigo; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Joy Osborn; and a host of other family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herschel Perrigo; one son, William Hugh Perrigo; her parents; her in-laws, Elgie and Mary Tine Perrigo; her sister, Sulu Gardner; and her brothers, Goob, Charlie, Robert, Homer, Scrap and Hershel Hughes.
Visitation is until service time today at the funeral home.

NEW ALBANY – Vera Maybelle Joslin, 94, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2013, at her home in New Albany. She was born to Richard Edmond and Mattie Elizabeth Strickland on Feb. 13, 1918, near Holcut, in Tishomingo County. She loved her family, church and always loved cooking for special times with her children and family. She loved to travel whenever possible and was always ready to go and to serve. She graduated from Glendale High School in Alcorn County and received her elementary teacher’s certificate from Blue Mountain College. She lived her faith in Christ as a teacher, minister’s wife, mother and homemaker for her family and church communities throughout Mississippi, including Glen, Interstate, Burnsville, Iuka, Walnut, Batesville, Hickory Flat, Pope (Pharsalia) and New Albany.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at United Funeral Service with the Rev. James Lewis officiating.
She is survived by five sons, Wendell Douglas Joslin of New Albany, Joe Edward Joslin (Sherry) of DeRidder, La., Jack Winston Joslin (Deborah) of Hernando, Franklin Alfred Joslin (Miriam) of Pace, Fla., and Terry Michael Joslin (Teresa) of New Albany; one daughter, Sarah Beth Joslin Hajeh of New Albany; one sister, Dorothy Hamblin of Memphis, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Eddie (Stacey) Joslin of DeRidder, La., Barry (Jessica) Joslin of Louisville, Ky., Ryan Joslin and Drew Joslin of Hernando, Al (Sarah Jo) Joslin of Waco, Texas, Alletta (Christopher) Joslin Goolsby of Brandon, Jennifer (Jaysen) Joslin Hogue of New Albany, Elizabeth (Braxton) Joslin Coombs of Alexandria, Va., Michael Joslin of New Albany and Sarah Hajeh of New Albany; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Rev. John Douglas Joslin.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Eddie Joslin, Barry Joslin, Al Joslin, Ryan Joslin, Drew Joslin and Michael Joslin.

TUPELO – Lillian Faye Morrow, 79, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Darden and Sons Funeral Home.
SALTILLO – Billie Marie Mansell 58, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. She was born Nov 27, 1954, to Billy and Emily Dale Flanagin. She lived all her life in the Saltillo area and met the love of her life at the age of 15 at the Lake Lee Drive Inn. She married Jerry Lloyd Mansell on Dec. 21, 1972, and they recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. She enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, drawing and flower gardening. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but most of all, enjoyed the time spent with her three precious grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Holland officiating with burial in the Old Birmingham Ridge Cemetery.
Survivors include husband Jerry Lloyd Mansell; daughter, Kim Mansell Raines (Scottie); parents, Billy and Emily Flanagin; grandchildren, Lauren Raines (Nik Washington), Summer Raines and Morgan Raines; brother, Mike Flanagin (Sherry), all of Saltillo; mother-in-law, Laura Wilbanks (Jimmy); brother-in-law, Rodney Mansell; sister-in-law, Susan Wood, all of Faulkner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, S.T. and Virgie Flanagin, and Troy and Myrtle Raines; father-in-law, B.L. Mansell; and sister-in-law, Nancy Cole.
Larry Tutor Sr.
ECRU – Larry Dale Tutor Sr., 64, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at his residence. He was born and raised in Randolph. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a loving father, grandfather and faithful friend.
Service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Ronnie Owen officiating. Burial will be in the Guinn Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Tutor Jr. of Ecru and Daniel Studler of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren, Seth Jones and Tyler Jones of Nettleton, and Everett, Stan Lee and Kelton Tutor of Ecru; two brothers, Kimball Tutor of Yantis, Texas and Tony Tutor of Springville; sister, Brenda Dillard of Ecru; and 12 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Tutor; mother, Jewel Tutor; brothers, Lynn and Dexter Tutor; and son, Phillip Studler.
Pallbearers will be Larry Tutor Jr., Daniel Studler, Allen Tutor, Ronnie Owen, James Mitchell and Chris Jones.
Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. today and noon until service time Tuesday.

MANTACHIE – Bryon Dale Tucker, 47, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, in Mantachie. He was born Aug. 24, 1965. A Baptist in belief, he worked for Gibson Corrugated in Tupelo for over 30 years before becoming disabled. He previously served in the U.S. Army reserves. He was a good carpenter and enjoyed hunting.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeland Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Rushing and Bro. C.D. Currie officiating. Burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Tucker (Morgan) of Mooreville and Brandon Tucker of Mantachie; one daughter, Magen Tucker of Fulton; his mother, Mary Francis Moore (Paul) of Mantachie; one brother, Edward Tucker (Miranda) of Fulton; one sister, Debbie Tucker of Mantachie; two grandchildren, Tripp Tucker and Doss Tucker; father-in-law, Earl Spradlin (Magledene); mothers-in-law, Irene Phillips and Nelda Spradlin; his daughter’s mother, Tammy Phillips; and his caregivers, Chuck and Misty Murphy, Lauren Murphy and Johnathan Green.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dudley Tucker.
Pallbearers will be Timmy “Red” Spradlin, John Spradlin, Brad Rogers, Mike Lollar, Jamie Yearwood and Roy Moss.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Lakeland Baptist Church.
