POTTS CAMP – Blanche Elaine Jarrett, 68, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at her home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Holly Springs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery in Bethlehem. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

RIENZI – Audrey Sanders, 72, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at her home.

NEW ALBANY – Carolyn Gaines, 58, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at her home. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by United Funeral Service.

Jan White
BOONEVILLE – Ruby Jeanette “Jan” White, 54, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at Baptist East in Memphis. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a cosmetologist and enjoyed arts and crafts and drawing.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. O’Neal Butler officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Randy White of Booneville; two daughters, Terri Haire (Michael) of Booneville and Megan Holmes (Dan) of Rienzi; two sisters, Paula Studdard (Greg) of Dumas and Teresa Holley Webster of Missouri; one brother, Jim Lambert (Sherie) of Rienzi; and four grandchildren, Gabe Haire, Zachary Haire, Micah Haire and Tyler Holmes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cullen and Francine Harp Lambert; and one sister, Sherry Wren.
Visitation will be until service time today at the funeral home.

Matthew Haralson
MEMPHIS – Matthew Christopher Haralson, 29, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. He was born Aug. 1, 1980, to Floyd Leon Haralson Jr. and Patsy Brewer Haralson in Memphis. He was a life long resident of Memphis. He retired in security at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with the Rev. Sylvia Czarnetzky officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his mother, Patsy Brewer Haralson of Memphis; and one brother, Michael Bryan Haralson of Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Johnnie Marion
NETTLETON – Johnnie Marion, 67, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at his home. He was born on Dec. 2, 1942, to Arthur and Velma Marion. He was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Nettleton Primary School Gymnasium with the Rev. Edric Marion officiating. Burial will be in Mullens Cemetery. N.L. Jones Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three children, Johnny D. (Pamela) Marion, Orlando (Felicia) Marion and Edric (Yvette) Marion; seven brothers, George (Pauline) Marion, Harry Marion, Melvin (Jean) Marion, Lamond Marion, Eddie Marion, Anthony (Ann) Marion and Jose (Kahali) Marion; three sisters, Vernell Elkins, Carla (Robert) Hobson and Tabitha (Tyrone) Wilson; six grandchildren; three uncles, Jessie Myles, Roosevelt Myles and Thomas (Laverda) Myles; two aunts, Mary Cummings and Johnnie Mae Partlow; his best friend, Joel Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Arthur and Judie Marion and James and Isbella Myles; and the mother of his children, Irene Cowley.

WALNUT – Cynthia Jean “Cindy” Finn, 52, died Saturday May 22, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Ripley.

Jesse Brown
PONTOTOC – Jesse Oliver Brown, 80, of Fayetteville, N.C., formerly of Pontotoc died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Cape Fear Valley Health Services in Fayetteville. He was a Korean War Veteran and was retired from the petroleum industry. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Services will be at 11a.m. Monday at Longview Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Morrow officiating. Burial will be in the Longview Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Melba Baggett Brown of Fayetteville; four daughters, Cynthia Brown, Sharon Garren (Ronald) and Beverly Edgerly, all of Fayetteville and Debra Beasley (John) of Hernando; one son, Terry Brown of Fayetteville; one sister, Mary Foster (Herbert Wayne) of Jacksonville, Fla.; and six grandchildren, Jeramy Hickam, May Katherine Garren, Jeffrey Hickam, Jessica Beasley, Johnny Beasley and Jordan Beasley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Oliver Brown and Jessie Lillian Henderson Brown.

CORINTH – Ottis Willingham, 75, died May 22, 2010, at his home.

AMORY – Mack F. Gilleylen, 71, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Darden and Sons Funeral Home of Amory.

Orville Parker
RED BAY – Orville E. Parker, 85, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1924, in Alabama to Archie and Edna Powell Parker. He was the former Mayor of Red Bay, a mason and a member of The Church of Lord Jesus. He was the superintendent of the Red Bay Water and Gas Department from 1963-1985. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a heavy equipment operator for 25 years and a superintendent at Sunshine Mills.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Bill Burcham and Arthur Hardin officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Golden. Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine Parker of Red Bay; two sons, Ernest Parker (Sue) of Tuscaloosa and Gary Parker (Icy) of Red Bay; three grandchildren, Ernest Parker III, Lee Parker and Evans Parker; two brothers, Jack Parker of Detroit, Mich. and Bill Parker (Fran) of Brownville, Tenn.; and three sisters, Eva Mason of Detroit, Mich., June Hamm of Arizona and Evelyn Deaton of Decatur, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Tutor, Arthur Hardin, Bill Elrod, Alben Mason, Omer Trasher and L.D. Overton.
Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Junior Williams
GOLDEN – James M. “Junior” Williams, 78, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born Sept. 26, 1931, in Mississippi to James M. Williams Sr. and Emma Stockton Williams. He was self-employed as a heavy equipment operator for 40 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Bay. He was a disabled Veteran of the U.S. Airforce.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Red Bay with Bro. Larry Hill and Bro. Merlin Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Gola Funderburk Williams of Golden; his daughter, Lynda Bostick of Belmont; his son, Eric Williams (Nancy) of Red Bay; three grandchildren, LaShea Nunley (Bradley) of Iuka, Ryan Bostick (Jessica) and Nathan Bostick (Magan), all of Belmont; three great-grandchildren, Maura Nunley and Luke Nunley of Iuka and Calliana Bostick of Belmont, one daughter-in-law, Gwen Williams of Golden; one brother, Jimmy Williams (Zerda) of Golden; and one sister, Lester Williams of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip “Pinky” Williams.
Pallbearers will be John Holt, Fred Bolton, Ralph Winchester, Doug Liles, Don Berry and David Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Homer Dees, Judy Bolton, Alben Mason, Ken Shotts, Todd Shotts, Ryan Bostick, Nathan Bostick, Joe Bostick, Scotty Hardin and Gary Pounders.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Lillie Nabors
OKOLONA – Lillie Mae Mosby Nabors, 84, died May 19, 2010, at Shearer-Richardson Memorial Nursing Home in Okolona. A native of Chickasaw County, she was the daughter of Amos Mosby and Lula White Mosby and the widow of Cedell Nabors. She was a member of Clark Chapel MB Church in Okolona. She was a senior member of the Golden Voices Choir and served on the Kitchen and Food Ministry. She had an admirable, humble and compassionate spirit and a willing heart to do whatever was needed for the church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Clark Chapel MB Church in Okolona with the Rev. Larry D. Shannon officiating. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by one sister, Earlene (Jessie) Stevens; one son, Abell Gillespie Jr. of Okolona; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Mosby; one daughter-in-law, Linda Edwards, both of Tupelo; seven grandchildren, Chandell Judd of Tupelo, Keisha (Richard) Young of Drummonds, Tenn., Lawanda Gillespie, Tinikia Gillespie and Kimberly Gillespie, all of Tupelo, Sharonda (Cedric) Mabry of Plantersville and Rita James of Racine, Wis.; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service time.
