David Baldwin
TUPELO – David Lee Baldwin died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Dec. 11, 1959, to Willie Ward Baldwin and Rosie Lee Lyles in Houston. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Second Baptist in Houston. Later in life, he became a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist and then Living Word and Praise Sanctuary. In March 1992, he married Teresa Ann Middlebrooks Baldwin. They had two daughters, Talisha and Shanika. He was employed by Independent Furniture, Quincy’s, Walkers Detail Shop and at the present, Tender Care Learning Center, where he was loved by everyone.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Living Word and Praise Sanctuary in Tupelo with the Rev. Tony Hereford officiating. Burial will be in Porter’s Memorial. N.L. Jones Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Baldwin; two daughters, Talisha and Shanika Baldwin, all of Tupelo; one brother, Ludean Chandler (Bessie) of Houston; one sister, Mattie Blassingame (Carl) of Detroit, Mich.; one godson, Derick Thorton of Tupelo; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, Elma Baldwin (Sylvester).
The body will lie in state one hour prior to service time today.

Tommy Richey
TUPELO – Tommy Richey, 57, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Grayson-Porter’s Mortuary of Tupelo.

Patty McMullen
HOLLY SPRINGS – Patty Sue McMullen, 75, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at Horn Lake. She was born Nov. 8, 1935, in Slayden to Wilbur Byrd and Callie Skelton Byrd. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Holly Springs Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Mobley officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Mark McMullen (Amy) of Heber Springs, Ark., and Arnie McMullen (Cathy) and Tommy McMullen (Judy), all of Ashland; two daughters, Cheryl McMullen Margis (Bill) of Horn Lake and Anne Terry (Gary) of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Carnell “Tobe” Byrd of Lamar; one sister, Katie Roberson of Ashland; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold “Cowboy” McMullen; a son, Joe McMullen; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Byrd, Randy Saunders, Austin Autry, Dale Sexton, Jimmy Lovell, Darron Byrd, Ruben Campbell and Chris McMullen.

Jane Coltharp
NEW ALBANY – Jane Moore Coltharp, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at her home. She was born May 27, 1929, in Laurel to William Rufus Moore and Lucy Frances Lagrone Moore. She was a retired physical education teacher for New Albany Junior High School. She was a member of the Mother’s Club, USTA Tennis League, New Albany Expert Bridge Club and First United Methodist Church of New Albany.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at United Funeral Service with Rev. Barry Male and Rev. Leslie Nabors officiating. Burial will be in New Albany City Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Robert Eugene Coltharp; four sons, Robert Eugene Coltharp Jr., William Hubert Coltharp (Nicole), Thomas Collins Coltharp (Kelly) and Edward Moore Coltharp (Wendy); 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Martha Mae Moore Owen.
Pallbearers will be William Sadler Coltharp, Robert Michael Coltharp, Thomas Collins Coltharp Jr., Kyle Wayne Swords, William Andrew Latham, Aubrey Martin Coltharp, Robert Edward Coltharp, James Benjamen Sutherland and Geoffrey Duvall King.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time today.

IUKA – Brenda Clark Balentine, 59, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at her residence.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Interment will follow in Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is in charge of the arrangements.

IUKA – Oneal Brown, 76, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at his home.

HOUSTON – Willie Lee Beaty, 68, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010.
Services will be at noon today at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Houston. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Houston. Montgomery Mortuary Service of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.

Rosie P. Ford
OXFORD – Rosie P. Ford, 70, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. She was a native of Lafayette County and a member of Clear Creek M.B. Church.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Clear Creek M.B. Church. The Rev. Eddie D. Goliday Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by three sisters, Bessie Young and Annie Simmons, both of Oxford, and Mary Lee of Jackson; and two brothers, Joseph Lee of Flint, Mich., and Jessie Lee of Oxford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Redner and Lizzie Lee, and two brothers, Wallace Lee and Joe Willie Lee.

BATESVILLE – Larry Lonnell Chrestman, 63, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at his home in Batesville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. Burial will follow in Eastover Memorial Cemetery.

Nancy Langford
CALHOUN CITY – Nancy Aubrene Langford, 63, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. She was born April 4, 1947. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Word of Life Church in Tupelo.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today at Pryor Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Galloway and the Rev. Thomas Galloway officiating.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Benny Langford of Calhoun City; one daughter, Jennifer Langford of Calhoun City; her mother, Dee Ford of Houston; one sister, Beverly Slovensky of Tupelo; two brothers, Jeff (Amy) Weaver of Saltillo and Dewayne (Beverly) Weaver of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Weaver, and her stepfather, James Ford.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today.

BOONEVILLE – Charles W. “Doc” Gullett, 73, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

OXFORD – Era Jane Coleman, 92, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11a.m. today at the funeral home.

Linda Boggs
IUKA – Linda Boggs, 63, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at her home. A retired LPN, she truly loved her job.
Following cremation, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Don Boggs of Iuka; two daughters, DeLana Pickle (Joey) of Corinth and Tamra Cyree (Jayson) of Cullman, Ala.; three grandchildren, Justin Pickle, Isabella Cyree and Cannon Cyree.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Beatrice Adcock.
