Ray Warren
OLIVE BRANCH – Ray Jack Warren, 84, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010. He was a U.S Navy Veteran born in Thaxton. He was a member of Cherry Road Baptist Church and Bricklayers Local #1 of Tennessee.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery. Brantley Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, David and Karen Smith; his son, Michael Warren; his granddaughters, Traci Buck and Natalie Smith; his sister, Darthy Warren Denton; and his brothers, L.J. and Darrell Warren.

Rebecca Love
PONTOTOC – Rebecca Marie Love, 61, died Sept. 4, 2010, at her home. She was married 34 years. She was a loving wife and mother of two children. She was raised in Holly Springs and was a member of Eastern Star. She loved shopping and helping others. She was actively involved in auctions. She loved and cared for everyone.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Jimmy McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, L.T. Love; her son, Jason Love; her daughter, Lesa Love-McGillivray; her son-in-law, Steven McGillivray; a special family friend, Peggy Vinson; her brothers, Richard Henderson, Donald Henderson and Phillip Henderson; 11 nieces; and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Henderson; and her father, Richie Henderson.
Pallbearers will be Morris Smith, Wesley Clemons, Russell McGillivray, Jesse Harrison, Roger Palmer, Billy Taylor and Matt Carol.
Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Blake Hopkins
POTTS CAMP – Blake Wilder Hopkins, 6, died Sept. 3, 2010. He was born Nov. 21, 2003, in Oxford. He attended Mary Reid Elementary School in Potts Camp.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Wilbanks officiating. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Misty Hopkins of Potts Camp; his great-grandparents, Bobby and Martha Culp of Decatercille, Tenn.; his grandmother, Ida Goode of Potts Camp; his grandparents, Tim and Tresia Byrd of Laws Hill; his grandfather, Richard Henderson of Lake Center; his brother, William Hopkins of Potts Camp; and his sisters, Bayley Hopkins and Emily Hurey, both of Potts Camp.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

BURNSVILLE – Troy Emmons, 93, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Acton, Tenn. Burial will be in Michie Cemetery in Michie, Tenn. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer is in charge of arrangements.

TREMONT – Mary Louise Pennycuff, 53, died Sept. 5, 2010, at her home.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.

Waynoka Miller
LAKELAND, Fla. – Waynoka Dulaney Miller, 83, formerly of Fulton, died Aug. 26, 2010, in Lakeland Fla. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Senter Funeral Home of Fulton.

EUPORA – Connie Wilson Avent, 43, nurses aide, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Clarkson Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of arrangements.

Peggy Hopson
GOLDEN – Peggy Hopson, 69, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka. She was born Dec. 19, 1940, in Franklin County, Ala. to Robert Lee and Clessie Hall Howard. She was a member of Manchester Church of God in Manchester, Tenn.
A private service officiated by Bro. Mickey Trammel was held at Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery in Golden. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one son, Glenn Hopson (Sabrina) of Belmont; one grandson, Tanner Hopson of Belmont; two sisters, Alice Pullen (George) of Gurnee, Ill. and Betty Ginn (Harmon) of Golden; one brother, Jackie Howard of Golden; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Hopson; her parents; and a brother, Robert Houston Howard.

Winnie Hodges
DUMAS – Winnie Faye Hodges, 85, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1925, in Union County to James Leonard Hogue and Mollie Etta Mayes Hogue. She was a homemaker who loved working in her yard and garden, traveling, listening to good music and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. United Funeral Service of New Albany is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, James D. Hodges (Teen) of New Albany and Roy W. Hodges (Georgia) of Dumas; a sister, Dot Bell (Jerry) of Pontotoc; a brother, Larvie Hogue (Bettie) of Dumas; and three grandchildren, Tony Hodges (Monica) of Dumas, Lindsay Hodges of Dumas and Michael Hodges of New Albany.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Junior Hodges; a sister, Rudell Beaty; three brothers, Harold B. Hogue, Esque Hogue and James Ray Hogue; and a grandson, Scottie Hodges.
Pallbearers will be Tony Hodges, Michael Hodges, Jim Watkins, Burney Johnson, Johnny Owen, Hilton Richey, Curtis Camp and Leon Hall.

TUPELO – Harry J. Merritt died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at Magnolia Medical Center in Corinth. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by N.L. Jones and Son Funeral Directors.

Brad Henry
PONTOTOC – Bradford L. Henry, 46, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Pontotoc. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, a 1981 graduate of Pontotoc High School, a 1985 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelors in accounting degree and a 1987 graduate from the University of Mississippi with a law degree. He practiced with Tutor, Henry and Edwards and Webb, McLauren and Oneal; and he served as a municipal judge for the City of Pontotoc from 1996 to 2002. He was the senior attorney for the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken Hester and Major Nelson Tate officiating. Burial will be in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Henry of Pontotoc; a daughter, Meagan Henry of Pontotoc; his sister, Ellen Russell (Don) of Pontotoc; his brother, David Henry (Teresa) of Amory; his father and mother-in-law, Bill and Teresa Ard of Pontotoc; and his two brothers-in-law, Shane Ard (Tammy) and Kerrel Ard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Mary Estelle Griffin Henry; and a brother, Sam Henry.
Pallbearers will be Steve Fleming, Chuck Smith, Sam Owens, Larry Ramsey, Pat Patton, Max Edwards, Jimmy Farris, Marshall Fisher, Tom Billups, Rusty White, Mark Henry and Billy Ray Warner.
Honorary pallbearers will be the agents and employees of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the officers at the Pontotoc Police Department.

PONTOTOC – Noel Ernest Reeder, 92, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Church Street Personal Care Home in Ecru. He was a retired farmer, an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the VFW.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Ecru with the Rev. Stark Aldridge and the Rev. Joe Herndon officiating. Burial will be in Cherry Creek Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home of Ecru is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his two stepdaughters, Nancy Thomason (Winston) of Sevierville, Tenn. and Sarah Ball (Ricky) of Byhalia; his three stepsons, G.W. Ball (Linda) of Austin, Texas, Kenneth Ball (Sue) of Pontotoc and Martin Ball (Lisa) of Pontotoc; his sister, Maggie Sue Brown of Sherman; and sisters-in-law, Myrtis Reeder Barlow and Bernice Reeder; seven step grandchildren; 13 step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Adrian Reeder and Cora Inez Fleming Reeder; his wife, Audry Ball Reeder; his three sisters, Alice Stark, Mary Littlejohn and Katherine Nagle; his four brothers, Harry Reeder, Joe Reeder, Lynn Reeder and Burns Reeder; and two infant siblings.
Pallbearers will be Mike Reeder, Jack Reeder, Ellis Reeder, Ray Stark, Martin Ball, Kenneth Ball and Tim Ball.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
