Thursday’s festive ribbon-cutting formally opened the Renasant Center for IDEAs, a business incubator downtown bearing the name of Renasant Bank.
The incubator was the creation of a diverse and commonly connected group of agencies and governments with the goal of providing space for developing business and industry to make their start.
The center is attracting diverse entrepreneurial ideas.
The Community Development Foundation, Tupelo and Lee County’s internationally recognized economic development organization, oversees the center, but it doesn’t run the incubator businesses. That is the responsibility of owners and employees.
The center welcomes drop-by visitors and inquiries.
