'Impressions' Lee County elementary students display their art

The first of two annual student art shows at The GumTree Museum of Art on Main Street in downtown Tupelo formally opens today with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. All are welcome.
The show, “Impressions,” runs through March 14 and features children in the Lee County Schools. The students are in the first through sixth grades. The show is underwritten by the museum and the Daily Journal. A show featuring work by Tupelo students opens March 26.
