The first paragraph of the Declaration of Independence reads, “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them (emphasis mine), a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

In American society today we disobey the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God more often than we would like to admit and often times to our own detriment. One specific example of our society disobeying The Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God is water fluoridation. “Fluoridated water, which contains up to 300 times more fluoride than breast milk, is by far the single largest source of fluoride for infants.” (http://fluoridealert.org/issues/infant-exposure/protect/) The Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) and The American Dental Association (ADA) now caution against using fluoridated water for breast milk. To my surprise! fluoride is found in most fresh surface water sources at .01 parts per million, whereas local governments add .08 parts per million. (http://fluoridealert.org/fan-tv/) There are a few places in the world where fluoride occurs at naturally high levels. So mothers and nature give us a maximum of .1 PPM and the government gives us .7 to 1.2 ppm. I think American society and my pineal gland, bones, IQ, and endocrine gland would be a lot better off if we rejected the ill-conceived notion of adding fluoride to our water.
