Rebels will play at night on the Bayou

The times and dates for Ole Miss’ matchup with Louisiana-Lafayette in the NCAA super regional have been set this morning.

The best-of-three series, with the winner advancing to the College World Series, will begin Saturday night at 7 in Lafayette. Sunday’s game will also be at 7, while the “if necessary” game would be Monday at 6. All three of the games can be seen on ESPN2.

Ole Miss (44-18) defeated Washington 3-2 Monday night in the Oxford Regional to advance, while Lafayette (57-8) eliminated Mississippi State 5-3 to advance. The Ragin’ Cajuns are the No. 6 national seed, one of only three national seeds remaining in the field.
