Former MLB player to lead baseball clinic at LHS

Youth baseball players from in and around Lafayette County can learn baseball fundamentals from a former Major League Player later this month.

Exavier “Nook” Logan, who played three years in MLB, most recently with the Washington Nationals, will be holding his “Covering All The Bases” clinic at Lafayette High’s W.V. Brewer Field July 29-31.

The clinic is open for ages 12 and Under from 9 a.m. until noon each day and then for ages 13 and older from 2 to 5 p.m.

Fundamentals, such as hitting, running, throwing, pitching and catching, are emphasized by Logan. Live baseball action will also be part of the instruction for campers.

Cost of the camp is $150. For more information, contact Logan at
