A COMMUNITY FESTIVAL!
On Saturday morning, the activities will begin with a motorcycle run, rally and swap meet. There is a registration fee for the run, which will include a meal and entry into the show. Saturday Activities will include ARTS & CRAFTS EXHIBITS
There will be music throughout the day, including LISA LAMBERT & THE PINE RIDGE BOYS, Family Tradition and The Heartland Band. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for these shows, as well.
In addition to musical performances, participants will have the opportunity to witness a medieval re-enactment. Performers from The Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA, will travel to the event for this performance. The SCA is an organization dedicated to researching and re-creating arts and skills from pre-17th-century Europe, with over 30,000 members throughout the world.
Saturday will include a variety of activities for children and families. There will be inflatables, a rock wall and other free children’s activities. Various artists and crafters will have booths, along with food vendors.
A stiletto race will give men the opportunity to test their speed in high heels. There will also be a raffle for a turkey gun. During the program, distinguished members of the community will be recognized. The names of those to be recognized will not be revealed until they are presented at the event.
