Catch the holiday spirit on December 7, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and be a part of the festivities as New Albany celebrates Sippin’ Cider.  A variety of entertainment will be held during this event including carriage rides and pictures with Santa and live entertainment.  Merchants always add to the joyous occasion by offering special holiday sales and door prizes for customers. Visit these participating merchants: Bankhead Flowers & Fine Gifts, Barbara Tyre, Bellissimo Home Décor, Calico Mushroom, French’s New Albany Flower Shop, Halle Jo’s, In Bloom, Merle Norman, New Albany Floral & Gifts, ObsessionsBoutique & Salon, Runway Boutique, Something Special, Southern Traditions, Sugaree’s Bakery, The Frame Shoppe, & Two Doors Down.  Everyone is welcome and invited as holiday guests to sample a wide variety of Cider during the event with the merchants. Three “Cider-meister” awards will be presented based on people’s choice voting.  Shoppers must visit at least 8 stores, sample and rate Cider to be included in door prize drawings.  Each participating store will be giving away a door prize.  All door prize winners will be announced on Wednesday morning, December 14^th.  Sippin’ Cider guest enjoy shopping in the stores until 8:00, cider contest, door prizes, pictures with Santa & live entertainment.  After all ballots are counted the “Cider-Meister” will be announced Wednesday morning, December 14^th and awarded a trophy.
