As part of February's Black History focus, the documentary "FROM THE ASHES" will be shown in its 3-Hour entirety. A variety of "soul-food" will be served during intermission to celebrate a family-oriented facet of Black culture. The documentary features several interviews from among the North Green Street community; and the event is also fitting for Black History as the GumTree Chronicle Film is a Satin & Silver Production made by two Black women from the Tupelo area. The Soul-Food Film Festival is suitable and recommended for entire families. The community is invited!
