Gas prices are lower today than they were a year ago, according to AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge.

The average price for a gallon of gas today in Mississippi is $3.30, AAA says. A year ago, Mississippi drivers paid $3.55 a gallon.

The cheapest gas today in Northeast Mississippi is in Sherman, according to our Daily Journal survey of stations.

You can find a gallon of regular for $3.13 in Sherman.
