A Prentiss County jury convicted Jones, 49, on Feb. 22 of the 2010 shooting murder of her mother, Jane Jones, near Booneville.
Becky Jones apparently was on her way to the prison after her trial when she suffered a physical collapse and was taken to a Jackson hospital.
She was released Wednesday.
Jones’ condition was questioned early Wednesday when her MDOC booking photo showed her in what appeared to be an unconscious state.
Usually, the mug shots are taken with the inmate in prison gear in front of a blank wall.
