Michael Guest, the district attorney for Madison and Rankin counties, says Challis Lewis climbed through a window and took the girl from her aunt's apartment in December 2010. Guest says Lewis took the girl to another apartment where he raped her. He then made her climb back through the window into her aunt's apartment.
Guest says Lewis was sentenced to an additional eight years for a probation violation. He was sentenced last week.
Guest says DNA linked Lewis to the crime.
