CORINTH — Corinth City Hall will be open three Saturdays for those wanting to vote absentee in the Dec. 11 liquor election.

City Clerk Vickie Roach tells The Daily Corinthian that in addition to the two required Saturdays of Dec. 1 and Dec. 8, city hall will open this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for absentee voting.

Roach says the decision was made because of the holiday season.

Roach says absentee ballots are also available during the regular office hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

She says mailed absentee ballots must arrive back at city hall by Dec. 7 in order to be counted.

Voters select either "for the legal sale of alcoholic liquors" or "against the legal sale of alcoholic liquors" on the special election ballot.
