TCT brings award-winning show

to Lyric before going to competition

Tupelo Community Theatre’s production of the comedy “God of Carnage” won big at the Mississippi Theatre Association Community Theatre Convention and Festival in Gulfport in January.

TCT is showing off with a performance of “God of Carnage” tonight at the Lyric. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. with the show following at 7:30. Tickets are $25 and include the show, drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a talk-back session with cast and crew.

The play contains adult language.

TCT will take the production to Chattanooga for the Southeastern Theatre Conference in March.

The musical comedy “Monty Python’s Spamalot,” winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, is coming to Oxford.
