TCT hosts spooks, ghouls in annual Haunted Theatre

A massive Tupelo Tornado is just one thrilling piece in this year’s Haunted Theatre, hosted by Tupelo Community Theatre.

The attraction opens tonight and Oct. 25 from 7-10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday and Oct. 26-27 from 7-11 p.m.

Tickets are $10.

It’s not recommended for kids under 10.

Hinge Dance Company to offer master classes in Tupelo

Oxford-based Hinge Dance Company will offer hip-hop/step, contemporary and lyrical jazz classes at Tupelo Academy of Dance Arts on Saturday.

Registration is 10 a.m. Saturday with classes following at 10:30 a.m., and there are three levels of instruction for each class.

All regional dancers are invited, including dancers 12-adult.

It’s $10/class.

There will be a performance by class participants and the Hinge Dance Company at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the studio. Dancers attending all three classes can attend the performance for free, while tickets for parents and the general public are $5. Those attending the performance will need to bring their own personal seating.

Family feuds turn funny in Corinth-Theatre Arts play

The comedy “You Can’t Take It With You” graces the stage this weekend at the Crossroads Playhouse in Corinth.

Showtimes for the play, produced by Corinth Theatre-Arts, are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
