Blue Mountain falls to Union in TSAC tourney semifinals

JACKSON, Tenn. – Doug Joyce hit two home runs to lead Union University to an 11-10 win against Blue Mountain College on Wednesday in the semifinals of the Tran-South Athletic Conference baseball tournament.

It was the first tournament loss for the sixth-seeded Toppers (24-30) who played Cumberland in an elimination game late Wednesday night.

Hunter Mize (Lafayette) led BMC with three hits and three RBI, while Seth Kennedy (Tishomingo County), Channing Walker (Tupelo), Zack Scott (Shannon)and Dalton Kulas collected two hits each.
