TUPELO – A $200,000 bond was set for a suspected car burglar in Lee County Justice Court on Tuesday.

Cody Carnathan, 21, of Tupelo, was charged with three counts of breaking and entering a vehicle for allegedly burglarizing cars in the Eggville Church of Christ parking lot Sunday.

Sheriff’s deputies got a description of the suspect at the church and found Carnathan at a Saltillo residence.

Authorities also arrested a 17-year-old suspect in association with the car burglaries
