Booneville Chamber selects interim director

BOONEVILLE – Trudy Featherston, who has been a staff member of the Booneville Area Chamber of Commerce, was named Friday as interim executive director of the chamber and Booneville Main Street Association.

BACC/Main Street board President Leigh Ann Michael made the announcement, which came after the resignation earlier this week of Rhonda Greening as executive director.

In her resignation letter to the board, Greening said that due to the city’s reduction in funding to the chamber her salary would put a strain on the chamber’s finances.
