Bryant says in a news release Tuesday that the committees will meet Dec. 15 in Jackson.
Toby Trowbridge, who's ending his tenure as Madison County sheriff, will lead the public safety committee. Glenn McCullough, former director of the Tennessee Valley Authority, will chair the jobs committee.
Gulfport city administrator John Kelly will oversee the budget group.
State Board of Education chairman Charles McClelland will lead the education group.
Dr. Randy Easterling, president of the Mississippi State Medical Association, will lead the health committee.
A group examining regulations will be led by Ron Aldridge, executive director of the Mississippi National Federation of Independent Business — a group that endorsed Bryant for governor.
