Registration will close on Friday, race director
Kenneth Williams said Tuesday, noting that about 1,149 runners have signed up so far. “It’s been an absolutely fantastic response so far,” Williams said.
Online signups continue at www.coke10k.com and walkup registration will be available at the Corinth Coke plant, at 601 Washington St., until 7 p.m. Friday. Either way, it’s $25.
“That will give us 12 hours to solve any problems that crop up,” Williams said.
The race is, for the third year, designated as the state’s 10k championship. It attracted almost 1,300 runners last year.
