Corinth approves pact with Alcorn County

CORINTH — The Corinth Board of Aldermen has approved a proposed cooperative economic development pact with Alcorn County.

The Daily Corinthian reports the board will send the agreement to the Mississippi Development Authority for approval.

Under the pact, Corinth and Alcorn County would share costs on economic development projects anywhere in the county.

Mayor Tommy Irwin and Alderman Andrew Labas were named to serve as Corinth's two representatives on the board of the new entity.
