CORINTH – Corinth Fire Chief Rob Price, 52, announced his retirement from the department effective Dec. 26, after 28 years of service. He made the announcement at Tuesday’s regular city board meeting.

Price’s entire career has been with the Corinth Fire Department, and he said he will be pursuing other professional opportunities.

Deputy Fire Chief John Wood will lead the department until a new fire chief is appointed, but the board has made no decision as yet about the recruitment process.
