The board voted Tuesday to table a decision about a request from a Corinth businessman who requested a zoning change that would permit him to build multi-family housing in the community.
Many residents who received notices of the proposed zoning change asked the board Tuesday to deny the request, although the city planning commission has recommended approval if the businessman provides proper documentation.
A spokesman said the property is currently zoned heavy industrial. The next regular board meeting is at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2.
