Maybe Disqus bought the Journal out?

What was wrong with the former simple to operate comment program?

Disqus now tells me that I have to install a certain browser on my computer before I will be allowed to comment. Some people, me included, have to use whatever they already have on their computers without installing one that can cost up to $200 or one in particular they suggest using that is free but I learned some time ago not to use a free browser no matter how swift and accurate the mfg. claims it to be. One browser I tried previously caused me a lot PROBLEMS with my computer. And. I'm still having them.

Disqus also tells me that I have to have a following on Twitter or Face Book to be eligible to comment on the Daily Journal web site. No other web site has ever told me such nonsense.

It all sounds strange to me. Suddenly I and maybe some others are being disallowed their rights of free speech.

Try to comment on this post and see if you can.

Thanks,

ABratt
