CORINTH - Four Kossuth High School teachers were recognized Monday at the regular Alcorn County School Board meeting for their academic excellence in helping the school achieve star status.

Kossuth High School Principal Matt Smith presented each teacher with a plaque honoring the work they have done to help the students achieve on the subject area tests.

The teachers are Shelley Trimble, English II; Tracy Finley, Biology I; Chris Byrd, U.S. History; and Donitta Ginn, Algebra I.
