The wreck happened about 8 p.m., and at least two cars were involved.
According to Lee County Coroner Carolyn Gillentine-Green, a 21-year-old was killed. The 21-year-old was the driver of one of the cars. She said the driver was pronounced dead at North Mississippi Medical Center of multiple trauma.
A Tupelo Police Department spokesman said they are “criminally investigating” the wreck.
