Howell convicted of manslaughter

HOLLY SPRINGS - After a five-day trial in Holly Springs, a Marshall County Circuit Court jury convicted Denorris Howell, 29, of 5514 Old Highway 7 South, Waterford, of manslaughter in the July 27, 2010, shooting death of Lakeith “Kee Kee” Jones of Holly Springs.

Circuit Court Judge Robert W. Elliott revoked Howell’s bond and remanded him to the Marshall County Sheriff to await sentencing at a later date.
