ICC to host regional premiere of Mississippi JUCO football movie

Itawamba Community College will host the regional premiere of “Mississippi JUCO: The Toughest Football League in America,” at 7 p.m., Nov. 20, at the Malco Theater in Tupelo.

The film, which is narrated by Jack Cristil, features ICC and five other Mississippi community colleges, highlighting the campus atmosphere, school history and on-field action. Its on-camera interviews features school alumni, administrators and those who know the story of each school and Mississippi JUCO football the best including legendary ICC coach Mike Eaton.

“Mississippi JUCO” is the brainchild of the film’s executive producer X.M.Frascogna, a Jackson entertainment lawyer, whose book of the same name is the basis for the movie. His writing credits include “Gridiron Gold” and “Y’all vs. Us.”
