More details released in MS 30 accident

Saturday around 2:50PM a Blue 2000 GMC Sierra driven by 26 yr. old Justin Moore of Booneville, MS was traveling eastbound on MS 30 when apparently a white 1999 Dodge Intrepid driven by 75 yr. old William McKinney of Rienzi, MS failed to yield to the on coming traffic on MS 30.

The GMC Sierra collided with the Dodge Intrepid and both vehicles traveled into the westbound lane of MS 30.

There were 4 motorcycles traveling in the westbound lane when this occurred and they collided with the damaged vehicles. 64 yr. old Harmon Laster of Booneville, MS was riding a Black 2000 Honda motorcycle. 52 yr. old Wanda Laster also of Booneville, MS was riding a Red 2006 Yamaha motorcycle. 63 yr. old Bobby Wayne Rooker and his passenger 58 yr. old Margret Rooker both of Belmont, MS were riding a 2003 Harley Davison motorcycle. 63 yr. old Robert Parker and his passenger 63 yr. old Teresa Parker both of Memphis, TN were riding a Harley Davison motorcycle.

Harmon Laster and William McKinney both were killed as a result of the crash. Wanda Laster and Bobby Wayne Rooker was air lifted to Tupelo in critical condition. Robert Parker, Teresa Parker and Margret Rooker were all transported by ambulance to Tupelo in severe condition.

Justin Moore was transported to Booneville with minor injuries. His passenger 26 yr. old Randy Williams was uninjured in the crash. The air bags were deployed on both vehicles.
