LeChristopher Gipson, 21, was traveling north on Highway 15 near County Road 94 about 2:45 p.m. when his vehicle apparently crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on into another vehicle.
Two people in the other vehicle were taken to Baptist Hospital in New Albany and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
