Northeast, which has had more than 25 players sign to play with four-year institutions, will hold an open tryout at 10 a.m. March 19 and at 2 p.m. March 28. The final tryout will be at 2 p.m. April 11.
A prospective athlete’s season does not have to be over to tryout since said athlete is not competing against college athletes and is only trying out for a spot on the squad.
Prospective athletes need to register with Northeast softball coach Jody Long at least two days prior to the date they want to tryout.
