T.L. Weston High School was damaged by a line of severe weather that pushed across Mississippi on Oct. 17.
Everett Chinn, public relations specialist for the district, tells The Delta Democrat Times 60-percent days will be extended to full days to accommodate for the days that were lost because of the storm.
Through the remainder of the week, maintenance and cleanup crews are continuing to clean and sanitize the T.L. Weston campus and are putting up a temporary roof.
Chinn says the district will continue to work on the renovations throughout the school year in the sections that were affected by storm damage while faculty and students utilize the remainder of the building.
