U.S. Attorney Felicia C. Adams says in a news release that Pass Taylor Jr. of Sidon entered the plea Monday in federal court in Aberdeen.
Taylor had originally been charged with 30 counts of baiting dove fields, guiding hunt tours into wildlife refuges, exceeding game limits and not reporting game kills.
U.S. Magistrate David A. Sanders ordered Taylor to pay a fine of $5,000 and pay restitution of $5,000 to the state of Mississippi.
Adams says Taylor was placed on probation for 18 months and banned from hunting for 18 months. Taylor also is prohibited from entering any federal wildlife refuge or preserve for five years.
