A St. Louis man was arrested Monday in connection with the shooting of an Aberdeen man.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Andre Lamount Tolen, 37, in St. Louis for his alleged involvement in the Oct. 30 drug-related shooting of Alan Walker of Aberdeen.

Tolen was wanted by Aberdeen police on an aggravated assault charge.

The Marshals Service said Tolen was arrested without incident and was being held in the St. Louis City Jail awaiting extradition to Mississippi.

A second man arrested in the case, Alonzo Sykes of Olive Branch, is out on bond, and Walker is recovering from multiple gunshot wounds.
