11:15 A.M.: The Tippah County Hospital, in Ripley has been placed on lockdown according to an official with the hospital.
Following inquiry calls by the Southern Sentinel, the official, who did not want their name revealed, returned a call at approximately 10:45 a.m. and released this statement:
“Due to a threat against employees, the hospital has been placed on lockdown.”
