When the Obama administration’s health care financing plan was signed into law, President Obama and Congress promised that funds under the new law would not cover abortions.This has now been proven to be empty rhetoric.
Why? Because the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has mandated that under the health care law, private health insurance plans must cover the “full range of FDA approved contraception,” in which category HHS explicitly included the abortion-inducing drug Ella.
This mandate included a so-called “religious employer exemption,” yet the exemption is so narrowly defined that most religious schools, colleges, hospitals and charitable organizations serving the public do not qualify. Even an expanded definition of “religious employer” would fail to protect non-religious affiliated organizations, individuals and even religiously affiliated health insurers whose pro-life consciences are nonetheless violated.
This is an unprecedented attack on the freedom of choice to purchase private insurance that does not violate their ethical, moral or religious objections. I hope all readers will contact their elected representatives in Washington and voice outrage over their anti-life mandate.

South only sought just due in fighting Union states
This is in response to an article in the April 30 Daily Journal about “tens of thousands of government workers” getting a holiday for Confederate Memorial Day and its not being widely celebrated today.
That is due to the myth that the War for Southern Independence was fought over slavery. The Constitution recognized slavery in three clauses. By staying in the Union southern states could have blocked any attempt to end slavery by constitutional amendment. The Corwin Amendment had been passed by Congress in 1860 perpetually protecting slavery in the Constitution. All the southern states needed to do was remain in the Union and ratify this amendment to protect slavery. So why did the southern states secede?
In 1860, 87 percent of the revenue funding the federal government was coming from the southern states and the Morrill Tariff had just been passed by Congress effectively more than doubling the tax in the next couple of years. Imagine a 40 percent sales tax today that your northern neighbors were not having to pay. The House of Representatives had always been controlled by the North due to its larger population.By 1860 northern “free” states had gained a three-state majority in the Senate and the newly elected president was from Illinois. The South could do nothing but tolerate the situation or leave the Union.
Why did my ancestors go to war? To oppose an invading army that was pillaging and destroying everything in its path. What more noble cause for taking up arms than to protect family and property? I submit that when the truth is known our Confederate ancestors deserve just as much, if not more, respect and honor as the veterans of any other conflict. They were overwhelmed and defeated in their cause resulting in all Americans today living under a domineering federal government that has no respect for the Constitution or our individual rights. It is a shame and disgrace that we in the South accept the PC slavery argument and fail to honor our noble ancestors on Confederate Memorial Day.

Scourges of life come from man’s immorality
Abortion, slavery and immigration are triplets of the fallacy of men. Einstein said any fool could make something bigger and harder. It took wisdom to make something smaller and easier. You need to punish the source, not the problem. Stop living in denial. Abortion’s source is man, not the woman, and child. The Lord killed David’s child for forcing himself on Bathsheba.
The good part about it, that child went to heaven. David said the child couldn’t come to him but he could go to the child. Salvation always came from the killing of children in the Bible. Moses, Jesus and now the 4 million aborted children. These are the virgins around God’s throne asking when shall we be avenged mentioned, in Revelations. This will come at the great white throne of judgment. The angels of God behold the faces of children and give report. Eve came out of Adam any faults she had were Adam’s responsibility. That is why there had to be a second Adam (Jesus), not a second Eve. Satan will never surpass God. God said he created good and evil for his own purpose and Satan is one of his creations.
Slavery had the same premise; they punished the problem, not the source. Jefferson Davis said if what we believe is wrong we have died of a theory, a theory is an idea you want to be fact. The worst enemy of this was God himself. All men have the same self spirit. It does not pay to make God a liar. He will smash you like pottery with an iron rod. Nothing like hindsight to look at. He does not lie. He said it would take four generations to recover (60 years, 1860-2020, 20/20 hindsight).
Illegal immigrants are the problem, not the source. The employers are the source. They want cheap labor, greed like in slavery. If you seize all the assets of people who use them like the IRS for taxes, you could stop it and use the assets to catch others. It would take no more than you could count on two hands to stop it. When you turn these people and their children on the street, penniless for being illegal labor. Smaller and easier we live in a world of foolish people.
