I also picked up plenty of material for the near future. One story to look for in the coming days is about tailback Vick Ballard, a senior who's continued to exceed expectations of most observers (and recruiters). I had a good one-on-one chat with Ballard, and with his father, a welder who's trying to start up a barbecue business.
