Corinth received approval to implement its final ordinance with hours of operation for package stores of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and on-premise sales permitted in restaurants on Sundays 1 to 10 p.m.
The city previously used the state regulations as its ordinance, which permitted package stores to operate 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday, with no liquor or wine sales on Sundays at package stores nor on-premise.
Several package stores have received permits, and as of Friday the only permit issued for on-premise sales was to Ruby Tuesday restaurant, said City Clerk Vickie Roach.
