It's official: MSU basketball coach Rick Ray has completed his staff. As expected, Adam Gordon was announced this morning as the director of basketball operations, a post he held at Northern Colorado this past season (CLICK HERE for bio).
Gordon, a 2006 University of Tampa graduate, spent three seasons at Clemson as a graduate assistant. He and Ray were together on the Clemson staff for one season (2010-11) under Brad Brownell.
From 2006-08, Gordon was an assistant at Central Florida Community College. Prior to that, he served as head manager and student assistant coach at Tampa (2002-06).
Ray's other three coaches are George Brooks, who was retained from Rick Stansbury's staff; Wes Flanigan, who was hired last week after two years at Nebraska; and Chris Hollender, who was hired Monday and spent three years at Evansville.
