Wide receiver Michael Carr is back in school at Mississippi State and is working out with the team, a team spokesman confirmed this afternoon. BulldawgJunction.com first reported the news.
Carr, a rising junior from West Point, had been on personal leave for several weeks. He played in eight games, the last one on Oct. 29 against Kentucky. Carr made seven catches for 90 yards and no touchdowns last season, and he'll be part of a very experienced receiving corps this coming fall.
Coach Dan Mullen said last month that he was expecting Carr to rejoin the team by spring practice, which begins March 22 and concludes with the April 21 Maroon-White Game.
