Checking in from Reynolds Razorback Stadium where skies are overcast with a hint of sun.

The forecast has been updated, and the greater rain chances now are later in the afternoon. Rain should hit after the game.

The stadium has the new wave of aritificial turf, which was installed last year. Last time the Rebels visited here the turf was grass.

Arkansas players are walking around the field now in sweats and t-shirts some of them stopping to speak with Ole Miss coaches who were once here with Houston Nutt. Director of Football Ops Mike Beaumont got a lot of hugs and handshakes, and a number of Arkansas offensive linemen visited with Ole Miss OL coach Mike Markuson.

Kickoff is 11:21. In the meantime, check out our Game Day section. Lots of good stuff in here.

I have just about had it with the WHOLE COACHING STAFF INCLUDING NUTT! THey score 3 points the first half look horrible and in THE second half seem to find holes in THE d back field and score but can't stop ark the next drive. Ole MISS don't ever put together a whole game on both sides. Bolden had not done anything the WHOLE day and THEY give THE ball to him inside the five and he fumbles. WOw we really have smart coaches. I'm just plain sick of the stupid play calling. I HOPE they FIRE the WHOLE staff cause we won't win but one more game!

Maybe its just sour grapes for me, but I don't see OM winning 3 of the next 5 to get bowl eligible. I think maybe we beat Tenn and/or play spoiler for Ms State. We looked o.k. after the first half, but this is the SEC and o.k. will get you beat and fired. I'm not for firing anyone this year because we expected this to be a rebuilding year, we had the attrition of Patterson and Cotton, we've had several injuries on the line, and finally Masoli getting in late. I'm still and Rebel and support my team whole heartedly, but I sure hope some ducks move into NorCal soon so I have something to do the next few Saturdays. I don't think my blood pressure can take another day like today. Hotty Toddy!

PA, what does the weather look like there? Is there a chance that they could call this one? Hope not, I like our momentum, and when they come back, the stands will be empty.

The Ole Miss scoring drive.

OLE MISS

1 20 Jeff Scott left plus 2

2 22 Masoli breaks two tackles … plus 23

End Third

FOURTH QUARTER

15:00

1 45 Split backs. Bolden minus 3

2 42 Masoli called run at right guard, plus 7.

3 6 49 Incomplete, off-setting penalties, chop block Swindall, personal foul, and pass interference against Madison.

3 6 49 Sack, Sowell pushed Bequette past Masoli, but Masoli turned into the rush.

Timeout was called by Arkansas to review the previous play. Previous play is under review. Sack doesn't count. Play is under review and so is my travel schedule.

3 6 49. Third attempt at this play. To Greer, plus 5

4 1 A 46 Quick snap, Masoli leaps over right guard, plus 2

1 44 Scott left, cuts back right plus 1

2 43 Deep to Summers, plus 43 TD, 11:39

Summers was side open, ran past the secondary. Motion Jared Duke, minus 5

kick is good

24-17 at 11:39

8, 80, 4:05

Bornarebel, good question. We were wondering why three runs were the best option down there too. Hogs have been all over Masoli, getting there in a group. Often, it's one guy unblocked who slows down the play and everybody else gets there to finish.

Hey guys. Play resumes in about 5 minutes here. They put 10 warm-up minutes on the clock and started counting. Weather appears to have passed. I don't think it's raining.

5:48 left in the third, Hogs punting and Rebels trailing 24-10 when we get going.

looks like it's gonna rain the rest of the day in F-ville... need to shut down the Ark offense and get 17 more...

How can you have a 1st and goal with a 6'7" receiver and not at least take one shot at throwing it up to him?

But we still have a chance in this game. They must continue to get to Mallet.

Hogs go marching down the field on their first second-half possession but Rebels stiffen with a pair of sacks, give up a 46-yard field goal. It's 24-3.

Rebels about to have their first second-half possession, and we'll see if they have adjusted to the Arkansas gang-tackling and speed.

Rebels, now plus 2 in turnovers, return a fumble to the 3 and net minus 2 yards on 3 plays, settle for 22-yard field goal.

Mallett made the touchdown-saving tackle against Shackelford.

Hogs lead 21-3.

Have we borrowed the Saints offensive line from the Archie era?? Sure looks like it...Masoli running for his life on nearly every play. Bet he wishes he had checked the O-line before he decided to go to Oxford.

At home today with a sick two year old. No trip to Starkville for me. What happened from last week? OM actually looked pretty decent against Bama. This week, not so much.

A school-record 97 yards on that punt return for Joe Adams and the woodshed trip is on.

Rebels have crossed the 50 on their own just once. Hogs have it at the 20 after a Masoli pooch punt.

Rebels did show a new look, Derrick Herman with a Wild Rebel snap, but it gained 2 yards. Nothing working on offense at the moment.

3 & 8 and he calls a QB keeper? I've never understood that.

Hogs up 14-0 end of 1. Not a good start and, unfortunately, this game resembles some other Ole Miss woodshed visits here in recent past.

Hogs not getting hurt on the QB runs, basically not getting hurt by anything Ole Miss is doing on offense at present.

What's up PA?

I agree Mobile. You guys have had a ton of dropped passes. Masoli is doing his job. Can't catch it for him.
