Update 11:55
Leave your questions and comments below. I've made a significant dent in the tab assignments, John Pitts will be glad to hear. Still a few more to go. I'm on the blog till 1.

The quarterbacks rebounded with a better performance in Thursday's practice. The Rebels will be back on the field this afternoon in a lighter workout in advance of Saturday evening's scrimmage, the first of camp.
Talking Ole Miss football here from 12-1. Grab a sandwich and join in, but if you can't make it from 12-1, leave a question or comment here. I'll be checking the blog through the morning, while I work on stories for our preseason football guide. Deadline is coming up fast.
1 - Nick Brassell. Could be a starter on offense. How much defense will he play. I didn't see him on defense at all on Wednesday.
2 - Keith Lewis. Of the freshmen linebackers, he played fastest in Week 1.
3 - Zack Stoudt. Houston Nutt has stressed his desire for a mobile quarterback. Can Stoudt make enough plays in the passing game and be elusive enough to win the job?
4 - Uriah Grant. The Rebels have to have a physical DL step up. Grant has a history of making plays behind the line of scrimmage at other levels of competition.
5 - Brishen Matthews. He'll line up like a linebacker a lot.
I like it. If Oklahoma wants to come, bring them along too, but A&M makes the most sense right now, entry into the Dallas and Houston TV markets and such.
If A&M comes, the question becomes who is the 14th team.
A lot of chatter for Florida State. Virgina Tech and others being mentioned too.
From what I've seen at practice, the defense overall seems to have more energy. Certainly, they're louder, encouraging one another.
GTHLSU, It's hard to identify a standout SEC player when they've only been in pads for two days. You don't identify that guy until several games into the season. Standout players put up standout numbers week in and week out.
Raleigh, right now Jason Jones is in that top four and was running ahead of Dorsey Wednesday. I was not there yesterday, will be back today. I am not sure how Thompson will hold up against the run. He was running third team on Wednesday. Mitch Hall isn't in the two-deep, and that's who's getting most of the work right now.
Texan, Brassell could very well win a starting job on offense. He's that good. On Wednesday he didn't work on defense at all. That's something to keep an eye on as camp moves along. Lots of signees come in with hype, and he's certainly lived up to his. I'm not saying the others have not, but in the first week, Brassell has stood out the most. Part of that has been due to his opportunities, getting reps on both sides of the ball early on.
Do you think Snoop will win a starting position on offense?
Why didn't Nutt try to sign Brunetti out of HS?
Thanks Yancy
I like the video interviews, but you should try turning your phone/video cam sideways to film in a "landscape" look.
