A few links of interest on a Monday morning ...

From Wheeling, W.V., the departure of Pitt and Syracuse from the Big East to the ACC brings the possibility of West Virginia to the SEC into sharper focus.

With Florida State having formed a committee to explore its expansion options already, the move by its own conference to add two teams sits well with Seminoles' fans.

Georgia visits Ole Miss this week with confidence from blowing out an FCS foe but still in search of an FBS win. The Bulldogs will face an unranked FBS opponent for the first time this year when they meet the Rebels Saturday morning.

Georgia coach Mark Richt says he believes the Bulldogs are a team on the rise.

As much as I would like to say it, I don't belive the Rebs are a "Team on the rise." Lost my Directv reception Saturday...by the time I got it back and turned on the game it was 30-0. I turned it off and took a nap. As it appeared, that was a good decision! The way I see it, we can come out and play lightsout against Georgia this weekend like a team with nothing to lose or fold it up for the season. We'll find out soon enough. Still pulling for the Rebs, but hope is dwindling.
